Microscopic images provide additional information about the local honogeneity of silicone layers, and therefore allows the user to asses each layer visually. An acceptable layer thickness threshold can be set for any syringe.
Therfore, any layer thickness measurements outside of this threshold area will trigger the capture of an image.
Formation of droplets in the layer is detected and documented.
